Hello! I'm Marteena. I'm a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) of 11 years. I have experience serving individuals within the educational and clinical settings. I enjoy helping others reach their goals. Recently, I've taken an interest in providing speech and language teletherapy services. I'm a mom of one, native of Mississippi, and a lover of the arts.
A remote speech language pathologist (a.k.a. teletherapist) performs speech and language therapy using telecommunications software (i.e. Zoom) from a remote location.
Teletherapy sessions are conducted by a certified and professionally licensed SLP. Teletherapists serve students at various locations: schools, rehab hospitals, and clinics. MST provides teletherapy services to students of grades pK-8.
Mpressive Speech Teletherapists are able to provide formal and informal assessments using online tools. Formal assessments are available using a digital platform to evaluate clients. Teletherapists are able to analyze data, interpret test results, and compose reports necessary to meet state eligibility requirements.
Mpressive Speech Teletherapists provide speech and language interventions to clients with communication impairments. Teletherapists utilize an array of online activities, websites, or created resources to improve speech and language skills.
Mpressive Speech Teletherapists strive to maintain appropriate documentation and records using online case management software. Teletherapists are responsible for producing timely documentation of therapy sessions, formulating IEPs or IFSPs, and completing progress reports as required by state and district regulations.
